End-User License Agreement

1. Agreement to Terms

This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and Archingen, PLC, doing business as PermitZIP (“PermitZIP”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), concerning your use of the PermitZIP Hours application (“App”) and any text-message communications you exchange with PermitZIP business numbers.

By accessing or using the App, by submitting a request through the public PermitZIP quote form, or by sending or receiving text messages from PermitZIP, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to this Agreement, do not use the App or send messages to PermitZIP numbers.

2. SMS / Text Messaging Terms

These SMS-specific terms govern any text-message communications between you and PermitZIP. They apply in addition to (not in place of) the rest of this Agreement.

• Scope. SMS messaging is used by PermitZIP for two-way conversational communications with active engineering clients about projects PermitZIP is under contract for — replies to design questions, scheduling for site visits, status updates on permit-ready drawings, and follow-up on signed proposals and invoices.
• Opt-in. You authorize PermitZIP to send you text messages by (a) checking the SMS-consent checkbox on the public quote-request form at permitzip.app, (b) verbally agreeing to be texted during a recorded project intake call, or (c) sending an inbound text to one of our published business numbers. Opt-in is voluntary and is never a condition of any purchase.
• Opt-out. You may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP (or any of: STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any text from a PermitZIP number. Reply HELP for support contact information. Reply START to resubscribe after a STOP.
• Carrier costs. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. PermitZIP does not charge a separate fee for sending or receiving SMS.
• Privacy. Full SMS privacy practices, including the disclosure that PermitZIP does not sell, rent, share, lease, or otherwise transfer your phone number or SMS content to third parties for marketing purposes, are governed by section 2 of our Privacy Policy.
• Compliance. PermitZIP's SMS program is registered under A2P 10DLC with Twilio Inc. as our messaging service provider. Inbound and outbound message metadata is retained for compliance audit purposes.

3. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the App for internal business purposes related to time tracking and billing management.

4. Internal Use Only

The App is designed exclusively for use by PermitZip employees and authorized personnel. You may not:

• Share your login credentials with unauthorized persons
• Use the App for any purpose outside of PermitZip business operations
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove or modify any proprietary notices

5. Third-Party Integrations

The App integrates with third-party services including:

• Hubstaff: Time tracking data synchronization
• QuickBooks Online: Customer data and invoice creation
• Google OAuth: Authentication services

Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

6. Data Ownership

All time entry data, billing information, and other content you input into the App remains the property of PermitZip. We reserve the right to use aggregated, anonymized data for internal analytics and improvement purposes.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encrypted storage of API credentials (AES-256)
• HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
• Role-based access control
• Audit logging of sensitive operations

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PERMITZIP BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your license to use the App will immediately cease.

11. Changes to Agreement

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. We will notify you of any material changes via email or through the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Agreement.
